AXXES 5, the biometric, anti-tailgating personnel Lock, guarantees controlled access to security areas
Why Anti-Tailgating ? Normally, access to security areas is restricted to authorised persons. Where a high level of protection is required, it is important to ensure that unauthorised persons do not enter the area by tailgating. A reliable anti-tailgating system prevents this from occurring either voluntarily or by use of force or weapons.
Applications:
Personnel entrances at - Banks - Insurance Offices - Public Authorities - Manufacturing Companies
Access to Security Areas in - Data Centres - Laboratories - R & D Centres - Vaults- Prisons - Court Buildings
Operating the AXXES 5 : • To enter the Lock, open the external Lock door by entering a code on the keypad, or pressing the entrance button • Weighing machine checks the weight stored for that person • AXXES 5 software will detect a 2nd person • Stored fingerprint is checked
If the stored data matches successfully with the present data, the first door is locked and the access door opposite is unlocked. Coloured LCDs make each process in the Lock clearly visible.
AXXES 5 Security : All relevant security checks are made inside the Lock. The weight control reliably prevents a second person from being smuggled in. The position of the weighing machine inside the Lock ensures that it cannot be affected from outside: this is ensured by the dynamic weight control. Also, by checking only the weight of the person, tight tolerances can be applied. In the event of a power cut, the doors stay locked. Access to the security area is only possible with a key. It is still possible to leave the security area.
